Experienced : FEP – Academic Orientation

This post is added to answer the question : What do you do during AO (Academic Orientation)?

You sure remember the moment of your first week at school, right? You get to know what’s your long-term classmates looks like, what’s your Math teacher looks like, and what will you study in Math subject for the whole semester. After knowing those things, usually you will start learning Math from its basics, receiving your first assignment, and finally having your very first Math exam (which is not really that fascinating).

Well, those memories are actually similar to AO, except now you aren’t a high school student. AO is basically a learning simulation in university. You will know how students study in university. During AO however, the assignments and activities are still in the minimum amount (most of Student Organizations still haven’t started yet), so you will have plenty of leisure time. Let me tell you that this is the best period to make new friends, as these new friends will grab their weapons and fight together with you for the next four years. You can begin with ones who were in the same class during GO, then start befriending everyone else.

Jumping to the conclusion :

Overall, FEP – AO is a nice start for all fresh students. It really helps preparing students to the real campus life while giving a head start to complete the whole studying materials. Enjoy this sweet period while it lasts, my friends! 🙂
